Why TTC?

Tarich was at first after-school and weekend classes in Mr Otu's house but due to the rapid increase in the number of clients, there was a demand for greater capacity. In June 2007, first Tarich Tuition Centre was opened; the second is opening in 2018.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Within 4 years, we have trained nearly 700 students who have shown phenomenal progress in their academic work.
Majority of our students are able to enter Grammar Schools each year. Various students from comprehensive schools have gained admission into sixth form at top Grammar schools.

We have tutored over 120 students to pass their 11, 12 and 13plus exams with more than 15% of those children scoring full marks in the Kent Selection Test or getting into the top 180 bracket in the Bexley Selection Test.

Many of our GCSE students have achieved or exceeded their targets and many more have been upgraded from foundation to higher papers in Maths, English and Science.
Majority of KS3 students have been transferred to higher sets in their respective schools.

There is a sizeable number of GCSE students who have moved-up from the foundation tier to a higher tier.

Targeted Tutoring
Our targeted tutoring has helped many children gain admission into Grammar and other Selective Schools and many more have boosted their National Curriculum levels as well as making notable improvements in their respective classes. We personalize learning so that every child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Materials
We use materials of well-known publishers such as; Folens, Nelson Thornes, GL Assessment, Nfer Nelson, Bond, Collins, Consdale, Cgp etc to support teaching from the National Numeracy, Literacy and Science Curriculum to reinforce problem solving and reasoning skills.

Working with Parents
To join TARICH is a commitment for both parent and child. Children are expected to work to the best of their abilities at all times and parents are expected to and monitor their children’s homework every week.

We have mentored many students and liaised with countless number of parents, offering free advice on choice of subjects or schools for their children. Furthermore we have provided many one to one free sessions for parents who want to understand the national curriculum leveling and their implications on their children’s future academic life.

Assessment
Frequent stress-free assessment is provided to check how children are assimilating what they are being taught. Our assessment is about informed observation and effective questioning, which helps the teacher to assess what children can do and what they need to do next. Children are also advised on how to manage their time and learning.

Examination Techniques
Inspite of what they know, students can perform dismally under examination conditions when they cannot manage themselves well in the examination room. Students sit exams at the Centre under normal examination conditions. We prepare them for their public exams and develop them to acquire coping strategies under stressful exam conditions.

Parents Day & Awards Day
Consistent with our partnership approach to reinforcing learning, we invite parents periodically to engage with management and tutors regarding their child’s progress. We motivate our students by rewarding achievement and outstanding performance.
Whilst Tarich Tuition Centre offers to provide high quality tuition to enhance the performance of its students in their regular schools and at various examinations, the Centre does not guarantee specific grades a child can achieve in any exam.

We have a team of seasoned educational consultants and experienced management personnel well versed in the academic business at the primary and secondary levels.
We depend on our highly competent and dedicated young tutors whose sole aim is helping children achieve their academic goals. Our tutors have the skills, the brains, the style and all that it takes to 'connect' to our students
